Brit Shea – Summer Dance 2019

Brittney (Brit) Shea , an Alum of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, began dancing at the age of 2. Brit has been studying, and perfecting her craft in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, contemporary, and later in life, hip hop. Growing up in the competition circuit, She has vast experience with many competitions and conventions across the states. Brit has been teaching  all ages in most genres for 20 years, and has a multitude of experience in the industry with dance, stage, and film acting. 

    At the age of 16, Brit choreographed her first professional piece for television on the NBC network. After turning down a position with Marching Auxiliaries Dance camps and competitions, Brit attended AMDA in New York on a full scholarship to major in Musical Theater. After school, Brit received the chance to work with various musical artist such as Pat Benatar, Heart, and Wynona. She has also had the opportunity to study Film and Television acting  as well as dance, from some of the best teachers in America, and has danced/taught in various states and countries including California, New York, Iowa, and Berlin, Germany. Brit is currently teaching and choreographing for multiple studios across the U.S., where she has won multiple choreography recognitions and awards, as well as judging with various competitions, and touring with conventions.
