I left my position as a ballroom dance teacher on October 19^th due to exhaustion and process disagreements with the owner…. Ugh… I’m convinced that … 
my years of dance experience have brought me here, and that it’s tough for me at this point in my career to follow other teachers processes that don’t have the training experience I have. I truly believe that my new venture of teaching on my own is the right one at this point in my life!!! So, that’s what Phil and I have done, he built me a dance studio in our garage or should I say his “man cave”. I have a trio of gals from Rochester that are fantastic, a lyrical soloist from that group, and now a boy from just down the street, who has excellent musicality and I envision him doing very well with his tap and swing dancing 🙂 I’ve come to a place in my life, after my father’s passing… that life is way too short to be killing yourself doing something day in and day out that you despise. I watched my dad go to work for us everyday, and I know that he was under pressure because I understand that his and my personalities are too work hard and worry about the unknown. I believe he loved what he was doing but not in the environment that he was working in. Life is too short… JUST DANCE 🙂 2012 for me is about positivity, and to help all of my students achieve their goals, and to have a healthy balanced lifestyle full of love and laughter. It’s all about being true to myself, and really going for my dreams. WADOOOSH!
